The Great Southwestern Car Adventure

Day one:
molli and i left at the crack of dawn from ft worth texas to drive off into the unknown...sadly, west texas does not always make the drive so exciting...we saw a starbucks in Eastland, Texas.
we stopped.
partaked of the sweet nectar that is coffee.
we left. And what to our wondering eyes should appear?? ahh the great skies of the Tejas! We stopped in Lubbock, Texas to have lunch with my friend Heather.
Only in the south will you find a restaurant called bless your heart.... this is also the city i discovered the airconditioning drain was stopped up and instead of draining the condensation from the ac unit OUTSIDE the car, it had started draining INSIDE the car... specifically into the passenger side floor boards....Can you see cali yet???Goodbye Texas, you will be missed....
Helloooooo New Mexico! so in honor of our crossing, molli and i had a moment of silence and reflection as we toasted our two texas cookies that my momma made to the great state...Random stop number 87.... Ft Sumner and Billy the kid's gravethen we stopped at the silver moon, a popular stop on Route 66... The end of a very long day... the arrival in Albuquerque, NM
