Back on the road again....

Still in New Mexico....
as we passed a "Scenic Lookout" - who can pass those up??
We got to see the Pueblo of Laguna.
A mission set on the hill with a village surrounding it.
Me and the Molli - We heart leg stretching breaks!!
Then we drove some more until we saw fun signs for ice caves and a visitor info sign.
so we stopped in this fun little town and went to the mining museum, took some pictures with some fun signs, got some maps to help us on our journey....
I thought this was funny...
As we were driving to the "ice caves" we passed this sign and a little trailor, and we thought "fry bread?? what's fry bread??" so we pulled a U-ie and tried it out.
Ummm Delish. the end.
We finally arrived at the Fire and Ice caves on our detour through the New Mexico.
For a couple bucks you could climb up to see an old volcano and then down to an ice cave!
there were so many humming birds just chillaxin outside the little store - it was awesome!
So we hiked up.... saw lots of volcanic rock and plants that survived and twisted wood... this is my impression of the twisted wood -
Tada! the top, here is the crator
It was so fun, you follow the numbers on the pamphlet they give you and it explains different rocks, sink holes, trees, caves, the volcano, etc.
We made it to the ice caves! it was so fascinating! it was natural AC. so cool! its like 100 degrees out and as you climb down and get close we got cold and started shivering. (don't worry it didn't take long to thaw out)
Back on the road.... we passed over the continental divide
OOH then we saw signs for a wolf sanctuary.... whynot?? so we totally stopped.
For my south asians -check out the name of this wolf...
This sign cracked me up...
We saw lots of wolves... it was a very intesting and informative tour..
Back on the road again... saw the monument
Yay for driving.... again...
so i don't know about you but this can freak one out as you are driving....
Goodbye New Mexico... Hello Arizona!
You never know what you are going to see driving down the road...
We were going to go through the petrified forest... but they wanted 10 bucks so we turned around and made our own petrified forest from the sign.... here is me being petrified.
Ahhh, the sun sets as we pass through flagstaff and arrive in Williams, Arizona....
